In this rarely-seen British comedy, two couples in Victorian England decide to find out if they are compatible for marriage by living together for a time (trying out prospective husbands “on approval”). On Approval (1944; 80 minutes) stars Clive Brook, Beatrice Lillie, and Googie Withers. Directed by Clive Brook.
