Jazz at the National Archives with the Airmen of Note

The Airmen of Note is the premier jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force. Created in 1950 to continue the tradition of Major Glenn Miller’s Army Air Corps dance band, the band consists of active duty Airmen musicians. Their commitment to musical excellence has earned the respect of the foremost jazz artists from around the globe.

This program is presented by the National Archives in partnership with the United States Air Force Band.

All public programs at the National Archives are free. Reservations are recommended; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The doors to the building will open 45 minutes prior to the start of the program. Use the Special Events entrance on the corner of Constitution Avenue and 7th Street, NW.Live captioning will be available online and in the William G. McGowan Theater.
