Destroying Segregation: The Personal Mission of Civil Rights Attorney Fred Gray
  • Date: Thursday, June 10, 2021
  • Time: 5:00 pm
  • Location: Online

Attorney and Civil Rights icon Fred Gray played a pivotal role in the push for equality. Through landmark victories representing the likes of Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. among many others, Gray quickly became a pillar of the Civil Rights movement.

Join the National Archives Foundation for a chance to hear rare first person accounts from Gray about how the Civil Rights movement gained momentum through bus boycotts in Alabama, how his friend Rosa Parks was ready to sit down for progress, and more.

Viewers will also have the chance to ask questions of the man who devoted his life to desegregation and not only witnessed our shared history, but also helped shape it.
