Environmental Film Festival: Following Seas

From their first meeting in Hawaii in 1960, Bob Griffith and Nancy Hirsch spent decades sailing the seas. Using archival 16mm footage, Following Seas celebrates their adventures, from Polynesia to circumnavigating Antarctica. (94 min., 2016). Following the film will be a discussion featuring filmmakers Tyler J. Kelley and Araby Kelley.

Presented by the National Archives in partnership with the 2017 Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital, in celebration of their 25th anniversary.
