60th Anniversary of the March on Washington Film Screening

Join us for a film screening and discussion of director James Blue’s 1964 film The March, which documented the August 28, 1963, March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Speakers include David A. Frank, Professor of Rhetoric at the University of Oregon. The film was produced by the United States Information Agency (USIA).

Due to high demand, in-person registration for this program is now closed. The event will be live streamed on the National Archives Youtube Channel.
If you’d still like to attempt to attend in person, seats will open to walk-ins at 6:45 p.m., 15 minutes before the program start time. Although we cannot guarantee you a seat, you may enter the waitlist line in the event that there are no shows from registrants. Please enter at the Special Events Entrance at Constitution Avenue and 7th Street NW.
