The Battle for the Bill of Rights Hands-on Adult Workshop

Although a Bill of Rights was not originally included in our Constitution, the Founding Fathers wanted to assure States that with a strong Federal Government, the citizens were still in power. Join us and take on the role of one of the members of the Constitutional Convention, and answer the hard questions that they faced: should we include a Bill of Rights in the Constitution or are the rights implied? And if there should be enumerated rights, what rights should be protected? Come spend your evening at the National Archives and re-live the debate over the Bill of Rights.
