History Happy Hour with Derek Brown

Join us for an engaging panel discussion with authors Derek Brown and Bob Yule as they discuss their new book, Spirits, Sugar, Water, Bitters: How the Cocktail Conquered the World with moderator Rose Previte, owner of Maydan and Compass Rose.

The event will feature a cocktail reception from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM and a theater program from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The reception will feature five of D.C.’s top bartenders including Gina Chersevani (Buffalo & Bergen), Duane Sylvestre (Campari Group), Megan Barnes (Espita), Paul Taylor (Columbia Room), and Tom Brown (The Passenger) who will mix up their versions of cocktail recipes from the book.

A book signing follows the program.
