The State of the Constitution: Is the Constitution Still Working for America?

Celebrate the 227th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution at a panel discussion with Akhil Reed Amar, Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale College and Yale Law School; Robert Hurt, U.S. Representative from Virginia; and others. Panelists will explore recent court cases and calls to amend the U.S. Constitution.

All public programs at the National Archives are free and streamed live online via the National Archives’ YouTube channel. Reservations are recommended; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The doors to the building will open 45 minutes prior to the start of the program. Use the Special Events entrance on the corner of Constitution Avenue and 7th Street, NW.
